I would say that it is a very good idea with not so good execution. The film involves two brothers from South Boston who decide to rid the world of evil men. So they start killing. Willam Dafoe is an FBI agent sent to investigate. The film has its moments, but nothing spectacular. Most of the money probably went into squids. The writing isn’t as tight as it could be, its not Tarintino. The structure attempt to be creative and the idea is nice, but it is poorly done. We watch the brother has they go to shoot a place up, then its a fade to black and we watch Dafoe breaking down what happened. Eh, could have been sweeter. I don’t think they had the capability of Lock, stock but they could have pulled off a pulp fiction or Res dogs. oh well, sometimes you eat the bear, and well sometimes the bear eats you.
