The last 30 minutes justifies anything else in the film. I was again annoyed by Aronofsky’s use of the same visual tricks from Pi. But when it all come together it becomes insane and intense. I found it less depressing this time, I think I hyped it too much in the year or so since I last saw it. I’m looking forward to Batman, but I’m afraid of seeing the same old same old.
