Why cops suck. Last time I saw this movie was in a French film class. I was very taken with it at the time. Upon second viewing I watched it with a whole new layer of “riots” and police that I certainly didn’t have before. I don’t think it was as great as I remembered, but definitely quality. I actually had forgotten about the riots and police, mostly remembered the gun and the old man with his story regarding God and shit. It makes me wonder how France survives, if this was less then a decade ago.
