I had a very hard time watching this, numerous distractions seemed much more interesting. I assume I had it on my list since its Truffaut. Adele Hugo is crazy and in “love’ with a British officer, who is indifferent to her affections. She has a weird need to kept up appearances and lies to nearly everyone. Then she goes super-crazy and wanders around Barbados. An epilogue lets us know she ended up in a mental hospital. That is the sum of it.
