I first saw this over a year ago, the DVD I watched didn’t have English subtitles for the first segment “Far from Yokohama”. Never seeing a Jim Jarmusch film, I thought that was how it was suppose to be. Then we start watching this copy with subtitles. Damn. Quite different. So they do make it to Graceland. There are a lot of subtleties in the film I hadn’t noticed before. Plus I fell asleep during my least favorite part “a ghost”. It was good to watch it again, very enjoyable.
