An impressive documentary, a year embedded with an Army platoon in the most dangerous part of Afghanistan. It's a straight documentary, capturing the raw fighting of the Korangal Valley, interactions with the populace and the brief moments of peace. It feel's candid and unfiltered, never advocating an ideological point. Apart from chronicling the strong bonds and devotion of the soldiers have to each other.
