This is a very early Hitchcock, from 1939. It shows its age, lacking a certain polish of his later films. A British women, gets hit on the head and is looked after by an elderly lady on a train. After falling asleep, the women awakes to find the elderly lady gone and everyone denying she was ever there. Mystery on the train ensues, ending in a rather bizarre shoot out. The disk was released by Criterion, probably the only Hitchcock they could get rights to.
