A novel exploration of the scale of war. A careful, harmonious mix of archival footage and meticulously filmed dramatic scenes, Overlord is unique in it's presentation. It alternates remarkably from immense spectacle of World War Two, to the pedestrian, disenchanted life of one conscripted soldier.
