Jimmy Stewart is Great. He's a bad detective, but one that falls in love and is obsessed by Hitchcock's dream women of Kim Novak. It's beautifully made and superbly acted. It's not my favorite Hitchcock film. Especially in the third act, when the theme of menacing control becomes more overt.
