The Fellini film. I’m not quite sure what to think, its definitely not what I expected. The director lives in his fantasies while his world collapses around him. His next film is starting up, the producers and crew are on his back, and most importantly the women he adores, turn away from him. His last refuge is his memories and fantasies. The film is ambiguous. It switches from reality to fantasy with little indication. Of the two the fantasy is easily to grasp. Reality is mixed in the bizarre life at the spa, with its patients, clergy, and night club acts. The film left me confused, I’m not sure what I even make of it.
