Living where the film was filmed puts it in a unique perspective. While the film claims to take place in East Boston, I felt like it took place in Jamaica Plain. Then the locations made more sense, to me at least. Except of course for the characters affinity with Cambridge establishments. The location was the real reason I watched the film. The story was good and the acting excellent, but in the end thats not what I remember. I remember how wrong Doyle’s was.
