The Hunger Games depicts an interesting world and the film's best aspects are probably from the novel. Though Jennifer Lawrence is a great actress the rest of the production doesn't rise to her level. The cinematography in particular is annoying, all handheld, close-ups constantly jittering. The story is entertaining, but is almost certainly better told in the novel then a PG-13 film.
